Nature: Honey Harvest

Students in the Honey Bee Biology and Beekeeping class examining a beautiful frame of drone brood and worker bees! Honeybees collect two types of food–pollen and nectar. The nectar is turned into honey, and the pollen is turned into bee bread. This frame shows busy worker bees from one of the Arboretum hives tending to cells filled with honey and bee bread.”
